Reproductive Rights are on the Ballot

  • Chapter One 227 North Broadway Santa Ana, CA, 92701 United States (map)

Election day is quickly approaching. With the overturning of Roe v. Wade this past June, we must show up to the polls to elect pro-choice, pro-women candidates who will protect our right to choose. Join NWPC OC on Wednesday, October 12th to hear pro-choice candidates Diedre Thu- Ha Nguyen and Rebecca "Beckie" Gomez discuss the importance of voting in this election.

Diedre Thu-Ha Nguyen is running for California State Assembly for the 70th Assembly District. Diedre is a lifelong community activist and voice for diverse communities. Diedre has a long pro-democracy and pro-human rights record, and hopes to bring a positive change to the district.

Rebecca "Beckie" Gomez is running to be the next Mayor of Tustin. Council Member Rebecca “Beckie” Gomez was elected to the City Council in 2020 after a two-year break from her previous service on the Council from 2010-2018. Previously, Council Member Gomez served as Mayor Pro Tem. Her priorities for the City Council are engaging the community on public safety issues, providing safe, accessible recreational opportunities for all ages and pursuing economic development opportunities.

We hope to see you there!
